Le court-métrage d'animation est bien réalisé et raconte l’histoire de Yacouba Sawadogo de façon pédagogique et accessible aux enfants. Bien que succin, il évoque les limites des systèmes de production dits « modernes », parfois moins performants que les méthodes traditionnelles. Il est surtout envisagé comme une introduction ou un complément d'un autre film ou d'une autre activité. Il peut être une porte d'entrée pour la présentation de l'agroécologie et l’intervention de paysans locaux.

The animated short is well made and tells the story of Yacouba Sawadogo in an educational and accessible way for children. Although succinct, it evokes the limitations of so-called "modern" production systems, which are sometimes less efficient than traditional methods. It is best viewed as an introduction or complement to another film or activity. It can be a gateway to the presentation of agroecology and the intervention of local farmers.
